The first video (see below) on our new channel “Amanda Cleary Eastep” is a read aloud of chapter 1 of Jack vs. the Tornado!, the first book in the series. Book 1 and 2 will be released simultaneously from Moody Publishers in April 2021.
During this time of global isolation, other authors and their publishers have been generously putting copyright aside and reading their books aloud for families to enjoy for free. Printed copies of the Tree Street Kids books won’t be available until April 2021, but I thought I’d share the first chapter, “The Worst Birthday Present Ever.” Check it out!
We’ve also added a Kids’ Table Book Review playlist. Every Thursday, my grown daughter and I PICK A FAVORITE BOOK and PICK A FAVORITE PAGE from picture books and middle grade novels, and post our video reviews on Instagram (book_leaves). We’ve uploaded that series to the channel as well.
